Little Caesars, woo commercial!

Advertising is a way that companies get your attention to buy their products. You see advertising everywhere you go. It is on billboards, magazines, commericals, radio, and etc. Everywhere you go someone is trying to get you to buy their products.

Watch the video up above and answer the following questions. Do you understand what the company is trying to sell? Does it make sense to you? Does this make you want to go out and buy this product?

This advertisement didn't make sense to me. I understood that the commercial had to do with the $5.00 pizza's but it didn't make me want to got out and buy one. So I gave this commercial a thumbs down.

Maybe I am missing something but for me a food advertisement should make me want to buy their food. I am not saying that I do not like Little Caesar's, I just think they could have done a better job on trying to sell their pitch. Yes, the commercial is memorable and makes you laugh in a weird way but it does not sell the product.

Over all it is a memorable commercial and maybe that is what they were looking for. So that when you thought about it or talked about it, you would want to go buy a pizza from them because they are inexpensive.

So what to you think?

  2. I totally agree with your feelings. It was strange and sure sort of funny, but they could have pitched the product a lot more and gotten you interested in wanting to get one. Great idea!

  3. They say that if you come in contact with the marketing scheme 8-10 times you are very likely to buy...maybe next time I buy a Caesar's pizza I will yell WOO! and see what they do?? :)
